Best Industrial Automation Training in Noida

Aimed at tapping immense opportunities in the industrial automation sector, the Higher Education Department in technical collaboration with Bosch Rexroth of Germany launched training centres in two locations in the state on Tuesday.

Minister for Industries P K Kunhalikutty declared open the ‘Centres of Excellence in Automation Technologies’ at the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (CET) and Centre of Competence at Government Polytechnic, Kalamassery, at a function held in CET.
The centres have world class infrastructure with state-of-the-art technologies, equipment and well-trained faculty.

The centres aim to provide training to engineering students and science graduates to meet industry requirements.

“The focus will be on disciplines such as hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC control systems, mechatronics and robotics. The courses have been designed to target various categories of students from Plus-II up to post-graduate and even research levels,” a senior Higher Education Department official said.
According to officials, both centres can accommodate up to three batches of 30 students each at a time.

The course duration of the training programmes vary from 180 hours to 450 hours. On successful completion of the course, students will be provided certificates jointly issued by the Department of Technical Education and Bosch Rexroth.

Students completing the course have the facility to undergo internship for periods ranging from two weeks to six months at any facility of Bosch Rexroth in the country.

“The details of the students who successfully complete the training programmes will be updated in the Central Human Resources website of Bosch Rexroth so that these students will be given preference for vacancies in industrial automation,” officials said.

The Memorandum of Understanding for starting the Centre of Excellence and Centre of Competence was inked during the Emerging Kerala Summit of 2012.
